While a lot of us may think that it could have been easy for someone to become an actor who has spent years as a successful brand endorser and in the digital advertisements media, well not at all! During her experience, while shooting the film under the lockdown circumstances she had been through enormous challenges like facing a major knee injury during an action scene and her health getting affected every now and then in fluctuating weather conditions due to constant relocations, as the restrictions were being put in the predetermined locations for the shoot to avoid the spread of the pandemic in the lockdown.
However, when the shoot location was finalized to be in the Butterfly Island, Goa which is a remote area located 500kms away from Mumbai, things were still hard to handle as the actor was being exposed to 48o C in the daytime for some scenes which had her suffer from things like heat stroke and severe skin burns. Also, the management of basic resources for the team was another big challenge as the island was densely covered with forests and was an isolated location with highly likely possibilities of the team that they could have been attacked by a group of active bootleggers nearby the shoot location.
Despite and all these challenges piled up the actor and the team was still able to complete the film on time in a situation where some of the biggest film projects are observed to be on hold due to the lockdown conditions.
Also when being asked about her secret to her commendable acting skills on her debut film “The Rage Over Injustice” a film which made it the Cannes film festival, The actor shared that she was never trained or took any acting classes or workshops.
“Behind every remarkable role played, there is an actor who just gets immersed into the character’s personality and emotions in the story and that’s what drives me to become a better version of myself every day” the actor further added.
Inspired by the most versatile actor in India late Irfan Khan the Roshni Kapoor believes that having trust in yourself and in what you do is the utmost important thing, never stop learning to unleash countless opportunities and always be grateful and one day you’ll make it happen, which says a lot about her personality and the reason why she made it to the Cannes!
And we can clearly see her real-life ideas also resonating in her debut film in which actor Roshni Kapoor is representing a role of a strong woman filled with kindness and rage to fight against the injustice done to women and to enlighten the awareness on women empowerment and the LGBTQ community.
Having a strong online influence previously as a brand endorser with a huge fan following of 5 million on Facebook and 1.2 Million on Instagram, the actor has significantly gained over millions of impressions across social media in recent times as the news of her debut film started rolling.
Though she has now taken her step towards acting, Roshni Kapoor says she will be still open to guest appearances in events and shows to build a connection, express her opinions, and interact with her fans which will be something close to her heart as always and she would continue her journey towards more endorsements and build long-term relationships with Brands and is looking forward to a positive response to her film.
